2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Place the charging base against a wall in an open, uncluttered area. Ensure there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the sides and 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of the charging base.
  • Connect the charging adapter to the charging base and plug it into a power outlet.

2.2 Initial Charging

  • Place the eufy L60 onto the charging base. Ensure the charging pins on the robot align with those on the base.
  • Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use. The indicator lights on the robot will show charging status.

2.3 App Installation and Mapping

  • Download the 'eufy Clean' app from your smartphone's app store.
  • Follow the in-app instructions to connect your eufy L60 to your home Wi-Fi network.
  • Initiate the mapping process through the app. The iPath Laser Navigation system will create an accurate map of your home, which can be viewed and customized in the app.
  • Use the AI.Map 2.0 feature to set up specific room selections, virtual No-Go Zones, and Multi-Floor Mapping for tailored cleaning.

3. Operating

3.1 Starting and Stopping Cleaning

  • To start cleaning, press the 'Clean' button on the robot or tap 'Start' in the eufy Clean app.
  • To pause cleaning, press the 'Clean' button again. To resume, press it once more.
  • To send the robot back to its charging base, press the 'Home' button on the robot or tap 'Recharge' in the app.

3.2 Cleaning Modes and Suction Control

The eufy L60 offers multiple cleaning modes and suction levels to suit various needs:

  • Quiet Mode: For light cleaning with minimal noise.
  • Standard Mode: Default cleaning power for everyday messes.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your eufy L60 Robot Vacuum. Always power off the robot before performing any maintenance.

4.1 Cleaning the Dustbin and Filter

  • Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
  • Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash can.
  • Remove the filter from the dustbin. Tap off any loose dirt. The filter can be rinsed with water; ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
  • Wipe the inside of the dustbin with a dry cloth.
  • Reinsert the dry filter and close the dustbin cover. Slide the dustbin back into the robot until it clicks into place.

4.2 Cleaning the Main Brush and Side Brushes

  • Turn the robot over. Pinch the release tabs on the main brush guard and lift to remove it.
  • Lift out the main brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove any hair or debris tangled around the brush.
  • Reinsert the main brush and replace the brush guard, pressing down until it clicks.
  • Gently pull the side brushes to remove them. Remove any tangled hair or debris. Replace the side brushes by pushing them firmly onto their posts.

4.3 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

  • Use a dry cloth to gently wipe the drop sensors on the bottom of the robot.
  • Wipe the charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base to ensure a good connection.

5. Troubleshooting

If your eufy L60 encounters an issue, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Robot not charging: Ensure the charging contacts on both the robot and the base are clean and free of obstructions. Verify the power adapter is securely plugged in.
  • Robot gets stuck frequently: Check for tangled cables, loose rugs, or small objects on the floor. Use the app to set No-Go Zones around problematic areas.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Clean the dustbin, filter, main brush, and side brushes. Ensure the filter is not clogged.
  • Robot makes unusual noises: Inspect the main brush and side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Check the wheels for any obstructions.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Restart your router and the robot, then attempt to reconnect via the app.
