5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain your keyboard's appearance and functionality, regularly clean it. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keys. For keycaps, they can be removed and cleaned with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then thoroughly dried before reattaching. The keyboard surface can be wiped with a damp, lint-free cloth.

5.2 Care for Aluminum Casing

The keyboard's aluminum alloy casing is durable but can be susceptible to chipping if subjected to harsh impacts or abrasive materials. Handle the keyboard with care to preserve its finish. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the aluminum surface.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keys Not Responding

If a specific key is not responding, first ensure the switch is properly seated in its socket. Remove the keycap and then the switch. Inspect the switch pins for any bends or damage. Straighten bent pins carefully with tweezers or replace the switch if damaged. Reinsert the switch firmly into the hot-swap socket.

6.2 Windows Key Not Working

If the Windows key is unresponsive, it may be disabled or the keyboard might be in Mac mode. Press Fn + W to ensure the keyboard is in Windows mode. If the issue persists, press Fn + Left Win key to toggle the Windows key functionality.

6.3 Connectivity Problems

Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and your computer. Try using a different USB port on your computer or a different USB-C cable to rule out cable or port issues.

6.4 Software Compatibility

Remember that the advanced customization software for the Hi75 is designed for Windows operating systems only. If you are using a Mac or Linux system, certain software-dependent features may not be available.
