Product Overview

The Peakeep Digital Alarm Clock (Model MHP6010) is designed for clear time display and reliable alarm functionality. It features large LED numbers with 6 adjustable dimmer levels, a mirror-like face, and 5 adjustable alarm volumes, making it suitable for various users, including seniors and heavy sleepers. The clock operates primarily via a USB Type-C power adapter and includes a battery backup system to maintain settings during power outages.

Setup

Powering the Clock

The Peakeep Digital Alarm Clock requires continuous power via the included USB Type-C adapter. For optimal performance and to ensure settings are retained during power interruptions, it is highly recommended to install 4 AA batteries (not included) for backup.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C power adapter to the DC 5V port on the back of the clock.
  2. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
  3. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  4. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

All control buttons are located on the back of the clock for a sleek front appearance.

Setting the Time

  1. Press and hold the TIME SET button for 2 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press TIME SET again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press TIME SET once more to save the time and exit setting mode.

Setting the Alarm

  1. Press and hold the ALARM SET button for 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press ALARM SET again to confirm the alarm hour and move to alarm minute setting. The alarm minute digits will flash.
  4. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
  5. Press ALARM SET once more to save the alarm time.
  6. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, simply press the ON/OFF button. A bell icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

Adjusting Display Brightness (Dimmers)

The clock features 6 levels of display brightness, including an OFF setting. This allows for comfortable viewing in any lighting condition, from bright daylight to complete darkness.

Adjusting Alarm Volume

The alarm volume can be adjusted to 5 different levels, catering to light sleepers and heavy sleepers alike.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT bar on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again.

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your Peakeep Digital Alarm Clock, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Clock display is off or flickering.Ensure the USB Type-C power adapter is securely plugged into both the clock and a working electrical outlet. Check if the power outlet is functional.
Alarm does not sound.Verify that the alarm is set and the alarm icon (bell) is visible on the display. Check the alarm volume setting; increase if necessary.
Settings are lost after a power outage.Ensure 4 AA batteries are installed correctly in the battery compartment. The batteries provide backup power to retain settings during power interruptions. Replace old batteries if necessary.
Display is too bright or too dim.Press the DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through the 6 brightness levels until the desired brightness is achieved.
