Setup

1. Unpacking the Machine

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the coffee machine, water tank, drip tray, and the included capsule assortment.

2. Initial Rinse

  1. Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water.
  2. Place a container (at least 0.5L) under the coffee outlet.
  3. Press either the Espresso or Lungo button. The machine will start dispensing water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the internal system.
  4. Discard the water from the container. Your machine is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Water Tank

Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh, cold drinking water before each use. The tank is located at the back of the machine and is easily removable for refilling.

2. Inserting a Capsule

  1. Lift the lever at the top of the machine completely.
  2. Insert a Nespresso Original capsule into the capsule slot.
  3. Close the lever firmly. The capsule is now correctly positioned.

3. Brewing Coffee

  1. Place a cup under the coffee outlet. For larger cups, the drip tray can be folded up or removed.
  2. Press the desired button:
    • Espresso Button: For a short coffee (approx. 40 ml).
    • Lungo Button: For a longer coffee (approx. 110 ml).
  3. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.
  4. After brewing, lift the lever to eject the used capsule into the integrated capsule container.

Maintenance

1. Daily Cleaning

  • Empty and rinse the drip tray and used capsule container daily.
  • Wipe the machine's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the machine in water.
  • Rinse the water tank with fresh water regularly.
