Installation Guide
This ground spike is specifically designed for LUTEC lamp posts. It is not suitable for soft soil, as proper stability cannot be guaranteed. Ensure the installation site has firm, compact soil.

Assembly Steps:
- Attach Stabilizing Spikes to Base Plate: Insert the three stabilizing spikes into the designated slots on the underside of the base plate. Secure them using the provided bolts and nuts.
- Connect Main Ground Spike to Base Plate: Align the top of the main screw-type ground spike with the central opening on the base plate. Secure it firmly.
- Insert Leveling Tool: Insert the T-handle leveling tool into the top opening of the main ground spike. This tool will be used to rotate the spike into the ground and assist with leveling.

Ground Installation Steps:
- Position the Spike: Place the assembled ground spike at the desired location for your post light.
- Screw into Ground: Using the T-handle leveling tool, rotate the entire assembly clockwise, screwing the main ground spike into the soil. Apply steady downward pressure as you turn.
- Ensure Level Installation: Periodically check the level of the base plate as you screw the spike into the ground. Adjust as necessary to ensure the spike is installed vertically and the base plate is level. The included level tools can assist with this.
- Secure Post Light: Once the ground spike is fully installed and level, you can mount your compatible LUTEC post light onto the top of the ground spike according to your post light's specific instructions.
