3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unfolding the Gimbal

1. Gently unfold the gimbal arms until they lock into position.
2. Ensure all joints are securely locked before mounting your smartphone.

3.2 Mounting Your Smartphone

1. Extend the phone clamp and carefully place your smartphone in the center.
2. Ensure the phone is securely held and balanced. Remove any thick phone cases if they interfere with balancing or clamping.

3.3 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

3.4 App Installation and Bluetooth Connection

1. Download the "AOCHUAN" app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the AOCHUAN app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Smart XPro gimbal. The gimbal's OLED display will show Bluetooth status.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel and OLED Display

The OLED display provides real-time information on gimbal modes, Bluetooth status, and battery level. Familiarize yourself with the controls:

• Focus Wheel: Adjusts focus.
• Zoom Slider: Controls zoom in/out.
• Gimbal Joystick: Controls pan and tilt movements. Press to cycle through modes.
• Power Button / Fill Light Switch: Powers on/off, short press to toggle fill light.
• Camera / Video Horizontal/Vertical Wireless Charging Switch: Toggles between camera/video mode and horizontal/vertical orientation, also activates wireless charging.

4.2 Gimbal Modes

The Smart XPro features several stabilization modes for various shooting scenarios:

• PF (Pan Follow Mode): The pan axis follows your movement, while tilt and roll axes are locked.
• L (Full Lock Mode): All three axes are locked, keeping the camera pointing in a fixed direction.
• POV (Point of View Mode): All three axes follow your movement, providing a dynamic first-person perspective.
• F (Full Follow Mode): Pan and tilt axes follow your movement, while the roll axis is locked.
• DM (Inception Mode): Allows for a 180° rotation effect, creating dynamic, spinning shots.

4.3 SMART 7.0 Stabilization

Equipped with 3 enhanced brushless motors and the SMART 7.0 anti-shake algorithm, the gimbal provides exceptionally smooth and steady video, ideal for professional videography, vlogging, and live-streaming.

4.5 Focus and Zoom Control

4.7 Gesture Control

Control your gimbal remotely using simple hand gestures:

• OK Gesture: Start/Stop Face Tracking.
• Palm Gesture: Initiates a 3-second countdown to start/stop recording.
• Fist Gesture: Toggles between video and photo modes.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning and Storage

• Wipe the gimbal with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
• Store the gimbal in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Fold the gimbal into its compact size for storage to prevent damage.

5.2 Battery Care

The Smart XPro features a replaceable Lithium Ion battery and supports wireless reverse charging:

• Charging: Use the provided USB-C cable to charge the gimbal. The OLED display indicates battery level.
• Wireless Reverse Charging: The gimbal can wirelessly charge your smartphone, ensuring uninterrupted shooting sessions. Operating time is typically 8-10 hours.

6. Troubleshooting
