Note: The WiFi adapter working voltage is 4.5V~5.5V and peak emission is 150mA, which is only suitable for devices that meet this requirement.
3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your EPEVER WiFi Adapter and connect it to the Solar Guardian APP.
3.1. Download and Register the Solar Guardian APP
- Download the "Solar Guardian" APP from your device's app store.
- Click "Sign up now" to register an account.
- Select "Add".
- Fill in the required information: "site description", "user name", "company" (can be virtual information), and "Phone Number" (must be valid). Then, "Save" the information.

3.2. Configure Network Environment
- Select "One Click Add" to add "Gateway SN".
- Step One: Click "Access Method" and select "EPEVER WiFi 2.4G RJ45D". Scan the QR code located on the back of the WiFi adapter. Plug the adapter into your EPEVER device's RJ45 communication port.
- Step Two: Enter your home WiFi network name and password, then click "Next Step".
- Step Three: Click "WiFi Setting" and select the WiFi network corresponding to "HN-EPXXXX" for network configuration. The password for "HN-EPXXXX" is 12345678. Once successful, click "Next".
- Step Four: Click on "Network Switch" to select your home WiFi network. Then, click "Finish".
- You should now see your device on the app page displaying "Online", indicating a successful connection.

4. Operating Instructions
Once connected, the Solar Guardian APP allows you to monitor and manage your EPEVER device remotely.
4.1. Remote Monitoring
The app provides real-time data transmission from your EPEVER controller, inverter, or inverter charger to the EPEVER cloud server. You can view various power generation data, system status, and other relevant parameters directly from your mobile phone.

4.2. Parameter Setting
The Solar Guardian APP also supports wireless parameter setting for on-site devices via the cloud server. This allows you to adjust settings of your connected EPEVER equipment remotely, providing flexibility and convenience in managing your solar power system.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EPEVER WiFi Adapter, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Connection: Ensure the WiFi adapter is securely plugged into the RJ45 port of your EPEVER device. Verify that the EPEVER device is powered on.
- App Not Showing Online: Double-check your home WiFi network name and password entered during setup. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the internet. Try restarting the Solar Guardian APP.
- Incorrect WiFi Password: The default password for the adapter's direct WiFi (HN-EPXXXX) is 12345678. Ensure this is entered correctly during the initial setup phase.
- Limited Range: The communication distance is up to 20 meters. Ensure the adapter is within range of your WiFi router. Obstacles can reduce signal strength.
- Device Not Supported: Confirm that your EPEVER controller, inverter, or inverter charger has an RJ45 communication port and is listed as a compatible model.
7. Maintenance
The EPEVER WiFi Adapter requires minimal maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Cleaning: Keep the adapter clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Environment: Operate the adapter within its specified environmental temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) and avoid exposure to excessive moisture or direct sunlight.
- Storage: If storing the adapter for an extended period, disconnect it from the EPEVER device and store it in a cool, dry place.
