1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the MeLE Quieter4C Fanless N100 Mini PC. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper operation and to maximize its performance and longevity.

2. What's in the Box
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1x MeLE Quieter4C Mini PC
- 1x 12V/2A Power Adapter
- 1x User Manual
- 1x VESA Mount with screws

3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the Mini PC
- Power Connection: Connect the 12V/2A power adapter to the DC-in port on the mini PC.
- Display Connection: Connect your monitor(s) to the mini PC using HDMI or USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode). The device supports up to three 4K displays simultaneously.
- Peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB devices to the available USB-A or USB-C ports.
- Network: For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port. For wireless, ensure Wi-Fi is configured in the operating system.

3.2 VESA Mount Installation
The MeLE Quieter4C can be mounted behind a monitor or HDTV using the included VESA mount to save desk space.
- Attach the VESA mount to the back of your monitor using the provided screws.
- Slide the mini PC into the VESA mount until it clicks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the side of the mini PC to turn it on. To turn off, use the operating system's shutdown function or press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
4.2 Operating System
The MeLE Quieter4C comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. It also supports various Linux distributions, including Ubuntu and Debian.
4.3 Multi-Display Setup
The mini PC supports triple 4K display output via two HDMI 2.0 ports and one USB Type-C (DP1.4) port. This allows for extended desktop environments, ideal for multitasking or digital signage applications.

4.4 Network Connectivity
The Quieter4C features high-performance Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) supporting 2.4G/5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.1, and Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45 LAN) for robust network connections.

4.5 USB Type-C Functionality
The full-function USB Type-C port supports 4K UHD graphics output (DP1.4), high-speed data transmission (10Gbps), and power input (PD3.0 protocol, 12-18V).

5. Maintenance
5.1 Fanless Design
The MeLE Quieter4C features a fanless design, ensuring silent operation and reducing dust accumulation. This contributes to long-term stability and minimal maintenance requirements.

5.2 Thermal Considerations
Due to its fanless nature, the surface temperature of the mini PC may reach up to 70°C under heavy load. This is within safety standards (IEC62368-1:2018). Avoid touching the hot surface for prolonged periods to prevent burns.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Boot Failure / HDMI Delay
If the mini PC gets stuck on the Intel logo or displays no image during startup, it may be due to the monitor not being ready to read the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID).
- Turn off the mini PC.
- Press the power button and repeatedly press the Delete key to enter the BIOS Setting menu.
- Navigate to Advanced > Customer Exclusive Functions > HDMI Delay.
- Change the delay time for reading EDID to 10 seconds. The optimal delay may vary by monitor (e.g., 2 seconds for Samsung, 5 seconds for AOC, 10 seconds for Redmi).
- Press F4 to save changes and exit.

6.2 Initializing a New SSD
If a newly installed SSD is not accessible in File Explorer, it may need to be initialized.
- Right-click the Start button and select Disk Management.
- In Disk Management, locate the uninitialized disk.
- Right-click the disk and select Initialize Disk. Choose GPT (GUID Partition Table) for modern systems.
- After initialization, right-click the unallocated space on the new disk and select New Simple Volume. Follow the wizard to create and format a new volume.

6.3 Rolling Back Graphic Driver
If you experience display issues after a driver update, rolling back the graphic driver might resolve the problem.
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand Display adapters, then right-click your graphics card (e.g., Intel UHD Graphics) and select Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab and click Roll Back Driver. Follow the on-screen prompts.

6.4 Restoring BIOS Settings
To revert BIOS settings to their default configuration:
- Press the power button and repeatedly press the Delete key to enter the BIOS Setting menu.
- Press F3 to load optimized defaults. Confirm by selecting Yes.
- Press F4 to save changes and exit. Confirm by selecting Yes.

6.5 Adjusting Power Limit
To adjust the power limit for the CPU (e.g., for N100 processor):
- Turn on the mini PC and press F7 to open the boot menu, or Delete to enter the BIOS directly.
- Select Enter Setup and press Enter.
- Navigate to Advanced > Power & Performance > CPU-Power Management Control > View/Configure Turbo Options.
- Select Power Limit 1 Override and set it to Enabled. Then set Power Limit 1 (e.g., enter 8000 for 8W).
- Select Power Limit 2 Override and set it to Enabled. Then set Power Limit 2 (e.g., enter 10000 for 10W).
- Press F4 to save and exit.

6.6 Enabling PXE Function
To enable Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) for network booting:
- Press the power button and repeatedly press the Delete key to enter the BIOS Setting menu.
- Navigate to Advanced > Network Stack Configuration.
- Set Network Stack to Enabled.
- Set IPv4 PXE Support and IPv6 PXE Support to Enabled.
- Press F4 to save changes and exit.

6.7 Connecting a Wireless Display
To connect a wireless display to your MeLE Quieter4C Mini PC:
- Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select Display settings.
- Scroll down to the Multiple displays section and click Connect to a wireless display.
- Select your desired wireless display device from the list to connect.
