Setup
1. Battery Installation
The trash can requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for the motion sensor functionality. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the lid or within a removable section. Insert the batteries according to the polarity markings.
2. Installing the Garbage Bag
Remove the lid from the trash can. Place a garbage bag over the upgraded bag fixed ring, ensuring the bag is securely held. Insert the fixed ring with the bag into the main body of the trash can, then replace the lid, making sure it is properly aligned.

Operating Instructions
1. Automatic Lid Operation
To open the lid, simply wave your hand approximately 6-8 inches above the motion sensor located on the lid. The lid will open automatically within 0.3 seconds. The indicator light will turn green when the sensor is activated.
The lid will automatically close after approximately 5 seconds of inactivity. The indicator light will turn red as the lid closes.
2. Manual Operation (if applicable)
Some models may feature a manual button for opening/closing the lid or for a "long open mode." Refer to the specific buttons on your lid for these functions.
