The Nuphy Air75 V2 is a portable 75% mechanical keyboard designed for versatility and performance. It features multi-device connectivity, customizable RGB backlighting, and QMK/VIA support for advanced key remapping. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your keyboard.
2. What's in the Box
Carefully unbox your Nuphy Air75 V2 keyboard and ensure all components are present:

3. Setup and Connectivity
3.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, connect the keyboard to a USB-C power source using the provided USB-C cable. The battery indicator light on the right side of the keyboard will show charging status.
Battery Life: The 4000mAh battery provides approximately 35-57 hours of continuous use with RGB backlighting on, and up to 220 hours with backlighting off.
3.2 System Compatibility Switch
Locate the switch on the top edge of the keyboard to select your operating system (Windows/Mac). Ensure it matches your device for proper key mapping.

3.3 Connectivity Modes
The Air75 V2 supports three connectivity modes:
- Wired (USB-C): Connect the keyboard directly to your device using the USB-C cable.
- 2.4G Wireless: Insert the 2.4G wireless dongle into a USB port on your device. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode using the switch on the top edge.
- Bluetooth 5.1: Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode. Press and hold Fn + 1/2/3/4 to pair with up to four devices. The keyboard supports simultaneous connection to multiple devices.

3.4 Adjustable Feet
The keyboard features two-stage adjustable feet on the bottom for ergonomic typing angles. Flip them out to your preferred height.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Key Functions
The 75% layout includes a full function row (F1-F12) and essential navigation keys. Refer to the quick guide for specific key combinations and shortcuts.

4.2 RGB Backlighting
The Air75 V2 features over 21 different RGB backlight effects. Use key combinations (refer to manual poster) to cycle through effects, adjust brightness, and change colors. The left side light bar indicates Caps Lock and connection mode, while the right bar shows battery level and system mode.

4.3 QMK/VIA Customization
The keyboard supports QMK/VIA firmware, allowing for extensive customization of key remapping, macros, and lighting effects through a dedicated console application. This open-source compatibility provides limitless possibilities for personalization.

4.4 Hot-swappable Switches
The Air75 V2 is hot-swappable, allowing you to easily replace or upgrade switches without soldering. Use the included keycap/switch puller tool to remove and insert switches.

The keyboard comes with Gateron Brown switches. Other compatible switch types include Gateron Red, Blue, Aloe, Wisteria, Moss, and Cowberry. A sample of different switch types is included for testing.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
The PBT keycaps are durable and resistant to wear. To clean, gently wipe with a damp, lint-free cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps using the puller tool and clean individually.
5.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, turn off the keyboard when not in use for extended periods. Avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
- Connectivity Issues: Ensure the system switch matches your OS. For Bluetooth, re-pair the device. For 2.4G, ensure the dongle is properly inserted and the keyboard is in 2.4G mode.
- Backlight Not Working: Check brightness settings. Ensure the keyboard is charged.
- Keys Not Responding: If a specific key is not working, try hot-swapping the switch with a known working one to diagnose if the switch or socket is faulty.
