Setup
- Connect the Mouse: Plug the USB-A connector of the mouse cable directly into an available USB-A port on your computer (PC, Laptop, Mac, Desktop). If your device only has USB-C ports, use the included USB-C adapter.
- Plug & Play: The PORLEI Trackball Mouse is plug-and-play, meaning no additional drivers or software installation is required. Your operating system should automatically detect and configure the mouse.
- Placement: Position the mouse on a stable surface. Its design allows it to function effectively even in tight workspaces or on non-traditional surfaces like your lap or a sofa.

Operating Instructions
Basic Functions
- Cursor Control: Use your thumb to roll the trackball to move the cursor across the screen. This eliminates the need to move the entire mouse, reducing arm and wrist movement.
- Left/Right Click: The mouse features standard left and right click buttons located at the top.
- Scroll Wheel: The precision scroll wheel is located between the left and right click buttons. Roll it up or down to scroll through documents and web pages. It can also be clicked for middle-click functionality.
- Back/Forward Buttons: Two convenient buttons are located on the side, allowing you to navigate back and forward in web browsers or file explorers. (Note: These buttons are not compatible with Mac OS).
Adjusting DPI Settings
The mouse offers 5 adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings to customize cursor speed and precision. Press the DPI button, located near the scroll wheel, to cycle through the following settings:
- 100 DPI (Slowest)
- 200 DPI
- 400 DPI
- 800 DPI
- 1200 DPI (Fastest)

RGB Lighting
The mouse features dynamic RGB lighting along its side, adding a vibrant touch to your workspace. The lighting cycles through various colors automatically.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your trackball mouse.
- Cleaning the Trackball: To clean the trackball and its housing, gently push the trackball out from the bottom of the mouse. Wipe the trackball and the inside of the housing with a soft, lint-free cloth. Ensure no dust or debris remains before reinserting the trackball.
- General Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the mouse. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting
