1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious injury or property damage.

• Always assemble the daybed on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
• Tighten all fasteners securely, but do not overtighten. Periodically check and re-tighten all connections.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children to prevent choking hazards.
• Do not allow children to play on or under the daybed without supervision.
• The daybed and trundle each have a weight capacity of 500 LBS. Do not exceed this limit.
• Use only the recommended mattress thickness of 6 inches for optimal fit and safety.

3. Package Contents

Your DNYN Daybed is delivered in two packages. Please verify that all components listed below are included before starting assembly.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required. It is recommended to have two people for assembly. Please follow the steps carefully.

4.1 Unpacking and Preparation

• Open both packages and carefully remove all components.
• Lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface (e.g., carpet or blanket) to prevent damage.
• Identify all hardware components and separate them for easy access.

4.2 Assembling the Daybed Frame

Begin by connecting the side panels to the back panel using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not fully tighten until all major components are aligned.

4.3 Installing Bed Slats

Once the main frame is stable, install the 12 bed slats into the designated slots on the daybed frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely fastened. These slats provide support for your mattress.

4.4 Assembling and Inserting the Trundle

Assemble the trundle frame according to the separate instructions in the hardware pack. Install the 6 trundle slats. Once assembled, carefully slide the trundle into the space beneath the main daybed frame. The trundle is equipped with wheels for easy movement.

4.5 Final Checks

• Once all parts are assembled, go back and fully tighten all screws and bolts.
• Ensure the daybed is stable and does not wobble.
• Place your twin-size mattress (not included) on the main daybed frame and a twin-size mattress (not included) on the trundle.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Daybed

The DNYN Daybed functions as a comfortable sofa during the day and a twin-size bed at night. Simply place your mattress and bedding on the main frame.

5.2 Extending and Retracting the Trundle

To use the trundle, gently pull it out from beneath the main daybed frame. The wheels will allow for smooth extension. To retract, push the trundle back into its storage position until it is fully hidden.

5.3 LED Light Functionality

The DNYN Daybed features integrated LED lights. These lights can be controlled via a mobile application. Refer to the separate LED light instruction sheet (if provided) for details on downloading and using the app to customize lighting effects and create a desired ambiance.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: For the upholstered teddy fleece, gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely.
• Frame Care: Wipe the wooden and metal parts with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
