1.1 Product Overview
The LaView 4MP 2K Indoor Security Camera is designed for home security, offering high-resolution video monitoring for various indoor environments such as nurseries, living rooms, and offices. It features dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity (2.4GHz & 5GHz), starlight color night vision, two-way audio, and intelligent motion and sound detection alerts.

2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Before You Begin
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is available and stable (supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz).
- Download the "LaView" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password ready.
2.2 App Download and Account Registration
- Search for "LaView" in your mobile device's app store.
- Download and install the app.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account or log in if you already have one.
2.3 Camera Pairing
- Plug the camera into a power outlet using the provided power adapter. The camera's indicator light will begin to flash.
- Open the LaView app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select your camera model from the list.
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code generated by the app with the camera's lens.
- Once connected, the indicator light will turn solid blue, and you will see the live feed in the app.

2.4 Mounting the Camera
The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall or ceiling. For ceiling mounting, use the provided mounting accessories.
- Choose a location with a clear view and strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Mark the drilling positions using the mounting template (if provided).
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs if mounting on drywall or masonry.
- Secure the mounting base with screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounting base.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Live View and Playback
Access the live feed of your camera anytime, anywhere via the LaView app on your mobile phone or through a web browser on your PC. The camera provides 4MP 2K resolution for clear and detailed video.

To view recorded footage, navigate to the playback section within the app and select the desired date and time.
3.2 Night Vision
The camera features Starlight Color Night Vision, allowing it to capture full-color images even in low-light conditions without the need for additional spotlights. This ensures clear visibility without disturbing sleeping occupants.

3.3 Two-Way Audio
The built-in microphone and speaker enable clear two-way communication. You can listen to the environment around the camera and speak through the camera using the LaView app.

3.4 Motion and Sound Detection
The camera is equipped with intelligent motion and sound detection. When activity is detected, you will receive real-time alerts on your mobile phone.

You can customize detection zones and sensitivity settings within the LaView app to minimize false alerts.
3.5 Storage Options
The camera supports two storage methods for recorded video:
- Micro-SD Card: A built-in micro-SD slot supports cards up to 128GB (card not included). This allows for continuous or event-based local recording.
- Cloud Storage: Secure cloud storage is available (subscription may be required after a free trial). Data is encrypted and stored on AWS servers in the US, providing secure access to your recordings from anywhere.
3.6 Multi-Platform and Multi-User Access
The LaView system allows for viewing on multiple platforms (mobile, tablet, PC) and sharing access with up to 20 family members or friends. You can view multiple cameras simultaneously on a single account.

3.7 Voice Assistant Integration
The camera is compatible with Amazon Alexa. You can use voice commands to display the live feed from your camera on compatible smart displays.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Camera
- Ensure the camera is powered off before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body.
- For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth or a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optics. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.2 Storage
If storing the camera for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
