3. Setup and Assembly

  1. Griddle Warming Rack: Place the warming rack directly on your griddle surface. Ensure it is stable before placing food on it. This rack expands your cooking surface and helps keep food warm without overcooking.
  2. Melting Dome / Basting Cover: To use a rectangular tray as a melting dome or basting cover, attach one of the strong magnetic knobs to the center of the inverted tray. The knob provides a heat-resistant handle for safe lifting.
  3. Grill Prep Tray: The rectangular trays can be used as nonstick serving trays for cooked, raw, or marinated foods. They can also function as bread baking pans or baking pans for ovens.
  4. Magnetic Utensil Hooks: The magnetic knobs can also be used as magnetic hooks. Attach them to the side of your griddle or any magnetic surface to hang utensils.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Melting Dome / Basting Cover

Place the inverted rectangular tray with the magnetic knob handle over food items on the griddle. This creates a steaming environment, ideal for melting cheese on burgers, steaming vegetables, or keeping food warm and moist. The nonstick coating ensures easy food release.

4.2 Using the Griddle Warming Rack

Position the warming rack on the griddle surface. Use it to keep cooked foods warm, toast buns, or gently cook delicate items. Its design allows heat to circulate while preventing direct contact with the hottest part of the griddle.

4.3 Using the Grill Prep Tray

The rectangular trays can be used to hold raw ingredients before cooking, serve cooked food, or marinate meats and vegetables. Their nonstick surface makes them suitable for baking in an oven as well.

  • Cleaning: All components of this kit are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. For best results and to prolong the life of the nonstick coating, hand washing with mild soap and a soft sponge is recommended.
  • Nonstick Coating Protection: To prevent damage to the nonstick coating on the rectangular trays, avoid using sharp metal utensils. Use silicone, wood, or plastic utensils.
  • Storage: The warming rack is designed to fit inside the rectangular trays for compact storage. Ensure all components are clean and dry before storing.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Trybuy GAK005 Griddle Accessories Kit, please consider the following:

  • Magnetic Knob Detachment: If the magnetic knob detaches during use, ensure it is securely attached to the tray. High heat can sometimes affect magnetic strength; allow the knob to cool slightly if it becomes loose.
  • Nonstick Coating Damage: Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp metal objects that can scratch the nonstick surface. Minor scratches typically do not affect performance.
  • Food Sticking: Ensure the griddle surface and accessories are properly cleaned and lightly oiled before use, especially if using the trays for baking.
