Initial Setup and Connectivity
The Air75 V2 supports three connection modes: wired USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1. The keyboard comes pre-configured for Mac out of the box, but includes spare keycaps for Windows users.
- Charging: Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the USB-C port on the top left side of the keyboard and to a power source or computer. The side RGB light bar will indicate charging status.
- Power On: Locate the small switch on the top right side of the keyboard. This switch allows you to turn the keyboard completely off, or select wired/wireless mode.
- Operating System Switch: Next to the power switch, there is another small switch to toggle between Mac and Windows/Linux modes. Ensure this is set correctly for your operating system.
- 2.4GHz Wireless Connection: Insert the 2.4GHz wireless dongle into an available USB port on your computer. Switch the keyboard to 2.4GHz wireless mode using the top right switch. The left RGB light bar will indicate the connection status.
- Bluetooth Connection: Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode. Refer to your device's Bluetooth settings to pair with "nuphy Air75 V2". The keyboard supports connecting to up to 4 devices simultaneously and switching between them.
- Wired USB-C Connection: Connect the keyboard directly to your computer using the USB-C cable. Switch the keyboard to wired mode.

Operating Instructions
RGB Backlighting and Indicators
The Air75 V2 features dynamic RGB backlighting with various effects and colors. The keycaps themselves are not backlit, but the lighting emanates from beneath the keys and from two distinct RGB light bars on the aluminum frame.
- Backlight Control: Use key combinations (refer to the included shortcut chart) to cycle through over 21 different color effects, adjust brightness, and change effect speed.
- Left Light Bar: This indicator shows the status of Caps Lock (on/off) and the current connection mode (wired, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz wireless).
- Right Light Bar: This indicator displays the keyboard's battery level and the current system mode. The color will change to notify you when the battery is running low.

Adjustable Typing Angle
The Air75 V2 includes two-stage flip-out feet on its underside, allowing you to adjust the typing angle for ergonomic comfort. Unlike previous models, these feet are integrated into the design, preventing loss and offering stable elevation.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your nuphy Air75 V2 keyboard, regular maintenance is recommended.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean any dust or debris from the switches and plate.
- Switch Replacement: The hot-swappable design allows for easy replacement of switches without soldering. Use the included switch puller to carefully remove switches. Ensure proper alignment when inserting new switches to avoid bending pins.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official nuphy website for any firmware updates. Updates can improve performance, add new features, or fix bugs.
Troubleshooting
- Connectivity Issues: If the keyboard is not connecting, ensure it is in the correct mode (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or wired) and that the OS switch is set correctly. Try re-pairing Bluetooth or re-inserting the 2.4GHz dongle. Ensure the keyboard battery is charged.
- Keys Not Responding: Check if the keyboard is powered on and connected. If individual keys are not working, they might be faulty switches. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the affected switch.
- Backlight Problems: If the RGB backlight is not functioning as expected, ensure the brightness is turned up. Use the QMK/VIA software to customize lighting effects and ensure no conflicting settings are applied.
- QMK/VIA Not Working: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C and the correct firmware is loaded. Use a Chromium-based browser for the VIA configurator.
