2. What's in the Box
Your JVC HA-NP50T package includes:

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Nearphones
Before first use, fully charge the Nearphones and their charging case.
- Place both Nearphones into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a USB power source.
- The indicator lights on the charging case will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.
3.2 Pairing with a Device
The Nearphones use Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection.
- Open the charging case. The Nearphones will automatically enter pairing mode (indicator lights will flash).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "JVC HA-NP50T" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the indicator lights on the Nearphones will stop flashing.
3.3 Multipoint Connection
The Nearphones support multipoint connection, allowing them to be connected to two devices simultaneously.
- Pair the Nearphones with your first device as described above.
- Disable Bluetooth on the first device. The Nearphones will re-enter pairing mode.
- Pair the Nearphones with your second device.
- Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The Nearphones should now be connected to both devices, allowing seamless switching between them.

4. Operating the Nearphones
4.1 Wearing the Nearphones
The open-ear design allows you to hear your surroundings while listening to audio. Position the Nearphones comfortably over your ears.

4.2 Basic Controls
The Nearphones feature touch controls for various functions. Refer to the quick start guide for specific tap commands for play/pause, track skipping, volume adjustment, and call management.
4.3 Voice Control
The Nearphones support voice control. Activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) through the designated touch command on the Nearphones.
4.4 Low Latency Mode
For an optimized experience during video playback and gaming, activate the low latency mode. This reduces audio/video lag. Refer to the quick start guide or JVC app for activation instructions.
4.5 Sound Modes
The 16mm drivers deliver powerful sound. You can select from three different sound modes: Normal, High, and Bass, to suit your audio preference. Adjust these settings via the dedicated JVC app.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean your Nearphones and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
5.2 Water Resistance
The Nearphones are IPX4 rated, meaning they are resistant to splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for sports and exercise. However, they are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.

5.3 Storage
When not in use, store the Nearphones in their charging case to protect them and ensure they remain charged.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the charging case and Nearphones are fully charged. Connect the charging cable and check the indicator lights.
- Cannot Pair: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the Nearphones are in pairing mode. Try turning Bluetooth off and on again on your device. If issues persist, try resetting the Nearphones (refer to the quick start guide for reset instructions).
- No Sound/Low Volume: Check the volume levels on both your device and the Nearphones. Ensure the Nearphones are properly positioned on your ears.
- Intermittent Connection: Ensure your device is within the Bluetooth range (up to 10 meters) and there are no significant obstructions. Avoid strong electromagnetic interference.
- Call Quality Issues: Ensure the microphones are not obstructed. For optimal call quality, use the dual microphones feature.
