Setup

Installing Batteries

The RC-900M remote control requires two (2) AA 1.5V alkaline batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
Press down on the tab and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
Insert two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.

Basic Functions

POWER (RECEIVER/SOURCE): Turns the AV Receiver and connected source devices on or off.
INPUT SELECTOR Buttons (BD/DVD, CBL/SAT, GAME1, GAME2, PHONO, TV, TUNER, AUX, STRM BOX, P.C, CD, NET, BLUETOOTH): Selects the desired input source connected to your AV Receiver.
VOLUME (+/-): Adjusts the master volume level of the AV Receiver.
MUTE: Toggles the audio output on and off.
NAVIGATION Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, ENTER): Used to navigate menus and confirm selections on your AV Receiver's display.

Advanced Functions

REMOTE MODE (RCV, CD, DVD, etc.): Switches the remote's operating mode to control different types of devices if supported by your AV Receiver.
ZONE 2 / ZONE 3: Controls audio output in secondary zones, if your AV Receiver supports multi-zone audio.
NUMBER PAD (0-9, +10, D.TUN, CLR, DISPLAY): Used for direct input of channel numbers, track numbers, or other numerical data.
DIMMER: Adjusts the brightness of the AV Receiver's display.
SEARCH, REPEAT, RANDOM, MODE, THX: These buttons control specific playback features or sound modes depending on the selected source and AV Receiver capabilities.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Remote Control

To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality:

Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure no liquid enters the remote.
