2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

• Remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape.
• Inspect the cooler for any damage during transit. If damage is found, contact customer service immediately.
• Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.

4.2 Placement

• Place the cooler on a flat, stable, and level surface.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space at the back and sides for proper air circulation.
• Avoid placing the cooler in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as ovens, radiators, or heaters. High ambient temperatures can affect cooling performance.
• Do not place the cooler in areas with high humidity.

4.3 Leveling the Appliance

• The cooler has adjustable feet. Turn the feet clockwise to raise the unit and counter-clockwise to lower it.
• Ensure the appliance is level to prevent vibrations and ensure proper door sealing.

4.4 Power Connection

• Before plugging in, allow the cooler to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
• Plug the cooler into a dedicated, grounded 127V, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or multi-outlet adapters.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Initial Operation

• After plugging in, the cooler will power on. The digital display will show the current internal temperature.
• Allow the unit to operate empty for at least 2-3 hours to reach the set temperature before loading beverages.

5.2 Temperature Adjustment

• Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows on the digital control panel to set your desired temperature.
• The temperature can be set between 3°C and 18°C (37°F and 64°F).
• The display will flash the set temperature for a few seconds, then revert to showing the actual internal temperature.
• Temperature stability may take some time, especially after loading new beverages or if the ambient temperature is high.

5.3 Interior Light

• The interior LED light can be manually turned on or off using the light button on the control panel.
• The light is designed to turn off automatically after approximately 10 minutes to conserve energy.

5.4 Loading Beverages

• Arrange beverages to allow for proper air circulation. Do not block the internal fan or vents.
• Avoid overloading the cooler, as this can hinder cooling performance.
• For optimal cooling, it is recommended to load beverages gradually rather than filling the entire unit at once.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Exterior: Clean the exterior surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Interior: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Remove shelves and clean the interior with a solution of warm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 liter of water). Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• Glass Door: Use a glass cleaner for the glass door. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the control panel.
• Ensure the unit is completely dry before plugging it back in.

6.2 Automatic Defrost

• The AVERA EBC75 is equipped with an automatic defrost system. Frost on the evaporator will melt during the compressor's off cycle.
• The defrosted water collects in a drip tray at the back of the unit and evaporates.
• During periods of high humidity, some condensation may appear on the glass door. This is normal and can be wiped away with a soft cloth.

6.3 Shelf Adjustment

• The shelves are removable to accommodate different beverage sizes.
• To remove a shelf, lift it slightly and pull it out. To reinsert, align it with the shelf supports and push it in until it is secure.
