1. Introduction

The BoxWave AccuPoint Active Stylus is designed to provide a precise and natural writing and drawing experience on your Blackview Tab 7. This electronic stylus interacts with your device's touchscreen through small electronic pulses, allowing for a finer tip and more accurate input compared to standard styluses. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your stylus.

4. Setup and Charging

4.1 Initial Setup

1. Power On: Locate the power button on the stylus. Press the button to turn the stylus on. An LED indicator will illuminate.
2. No Pairing Required: The AccuPoint Active Stylus does not require Bluetooth pairing with your Blackview Tab 7. It is ready for use immediately after powering on.

4.2 Charging the Stylus

When the stylus battery is low, or for regular maintenance, recharge the device:

1. Connect Cable: Plug the included Micro USB cable into the charging port on the stylus.
2. Connect to Power: Connect the other end of the Micro USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., a computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
3. Charging Indicator: The LED indicator on the stylus will change to show it is charging.
4. Full Charge: Once fully charged, the LED indicator will change again or turn off, depending on the model. Disconnect the stylus from the charging cable.

A full charge provides up to 12 hours of continuous use.

5. Operation

Using the AccuPoint Active Stylus is intuitive and similar to using a traditional pen:

1. Power On: Ensure the stylus is powered on (refer to Section 4.1).
2. Screen Interaction: Gently touch the ultra-accurate 2mm tip to your Blackview Tab 7 touchscreen.
3. Drawing and Writing: Apply light pressure, similar to writing on paper, to draw, write, tap, and swipe on your device. The stylus emits electronic pulses to register contact.
4. Holding Position: Hold the stylus in a comfortable, natural writing position.

Important Considerations:

• The AccuPoint Active Stylus does not support palm rejection. Avoid resting your palm on the screen while using the stylus if your device does not natively support palm rejection.
• The stylus does not support pressure sensitivity. All strokes will have a uniform thickness regardless of pressure applied.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your stylus:

• Charging: Recharge the stylus when the battery is low to maintain its functionality. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the stylus barrel and tip. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the stylus in a safe place to prevent damage to the tip. Avoid extreme temperatures.
