3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Power-Up and App Download

Connect the alarm host to a power source. Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS). Register an account and log in.

3.2 Setting the Keypad Lock

To enable or disable the keypad lock feature on the alarm host:

  1. From the main screen, navigate to Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Choose Password.
  4. Select Switch, then Keypad Lock.
  5. Toggle the status to ON or OFF.
  6. Enter the corresponding setting password to confirm the operation. The default system password is 6666, and the default user password is 1234.
  7. After restarting the system, the keypad lock setting will take effect.

3.3 Accessory Pairing

The system supports pairing with up to 100 wireless accessories. Follow these general steps for pairing, and refer to the specific accessory instructions below.

3.3.1 Remote Control Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Remote.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Press any button on the remote control to initiate pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, you can use the remote control to arm and disarm the system.
3.3.2 RFID Tag Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > RFID.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Place the RFID tag on the designated RFID sensing area of the alarm host. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, you can use the RFID tag to arm and disarm the system.
3.3.3 Magnetic Door/Window Sensor Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Detector.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Choose "Door Alarm" in the first line and "Out Arm Active" in the second line.
  4. Confirm the settings.
  5. Separate the two parts of the door sensor to trigger the pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  6. When the system is armed and the door/window sensor is separated, the host will trigger an alarm.
3.3.4 Infrared (PIR) Motion Detector Pairing
  1. Ensure the PIR detector is powered on and has completed its self-test (indicated by a steady light).
  2. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Detector.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Choose "Panic Alarm" in the first line and "24 Hours Active" in the second line.
  5. Confirm the settings.
  6. Wave your hand in front of the PIR detector to trigger it for pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  7. When the system is armed and the PIR detector senses a human body, it will trigger an alarm.

3.3.5 SOS Button Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Detector.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Choose "Panic Alarm" in the first line and "24 Hours Active" in the second line.
  4. Confirm the settings.
  5. Press the SOS button to initiate pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  6. When the system is armed, pressing the SOS button will immediately trigger an alarm.
3.3.6 Doorbell Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Detector.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Choose "System Alarm" in the first line and "Doorbell" in the second line.
  4. Confirm the settings.
  5. Press the doorbell button to initiate pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  6. When the doorbell button is pressed, the alarm host will receive a reminder notification.
3.3.7 Wireless Sound and Light Siren Pairing
  1. Ensure the siren is powered on.
  2. Long press the SET button on the siren until you hear three beeps, indicating it's in learning mode.
  3. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Siren Learn.
  4. Confirm the setting.
  5. When the main alarm unit triggers an alarm, the siren will also sound, indicating successful pairing.
3.3.8 Smoke Detector Pairing
  1. Navigate to Menu > Parts > Detector.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Choose "Gas Alarm" in the first line and "24 Hours Active" in the second line.
  4. Confirm the settings.
  5. Press and hold the test button on the smoke detector to initiate pairing. The host will display "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
  6. When the system is armed and the smoke detector is triggered, the alarm host will also sound an alarm.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Arming and Disarming the System

The PGST security system offers multiple methods for arming and disarming:

  • Mobile App: Use the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app to remotely arm, disarm, or set the system to 'Stay Arm' mode from anywhere.
  • Remote Control: Press the arm or disarm button on the paired remote control.
  • RFID Tag: Tap a paired RFID tag on the alarm host's RFID sensing area.
  • Keypad: Enter your user password on the alarm host's keypad and select the arm or disarm function.
4.2 Scheduled Arm/Disarm

You can set specific times for the system to automatically arm or disarm, optimizing security based on your daily routine.

4.3 Real-time Monitoring and Alerts
