1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Jazmm Portable AM/FM/SW Radio. Designed for excellent reception across multiple bands, this compact device features a digital tuner, preset stations, a rechargeable battery, and an LCD display for enhanced usability. 3. Product Overview

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Jazmm Portable Radio. The radio features a built-in 900mAh rechargeable battery.

1. Locate the USB charging port on the radio (typically on the side or bottom).
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the radio's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/1A USB charger (not included) or a compatible USB power source.
4. The LCD display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2.5 hours.
5. Once fully charged, the radio can operate for up to 23 hours, depending on usage and volume levels.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off & Sleep Function

• To power on the radio, press and hold the POWER/SLEEP button located on the side.
• To power off the radio, press and hold the POWER/SLEEP button again.
• To activate the sleep timer, short press the POWER/SLEEP button while the radio is on. Use the tuning buttons to set the desired sleep time (15 to 90 minutes). The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.

5.2 Tuning and Band Selection

• Press the BAND button to cycle through the available frequency bands: FM, AM, and SW (Shortwave).
• Use the TUNING arrow buttons (left/right arrows) to manually tune to a specific frequency.
• For enhanced reception, extend the telescopic antenna for FM and SW bands. The headphone cable can also serve as an antenna to improve signal reception.

5.3 Auto Scan and Preset Stations

The radio can automatically search for and save available stations, or you can manually save your favorite channels.

• To perform an auto scan, press and hold the MEM./SCAN button. The radio will scan and save up to 40 available stations.
• To recall a preset station, short press the MEM./SCAN button to enter preset mode, then use the TUNING arrow buttons to navigate through saved stations.
• To manually save a station: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the MEM./SCAN button until the display indicates it's saved.

5.4 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume buttons located on the side of the radio.

• Press VOLUME + to increase the volume.
• Press VOLUME - to decrease the volume.

5.5 Earphone Use

For private listening, connect the included earphones or any standard 3.5mm headphones to the earphone jack.

• Insert the 3.5mm earphone plug into the earphone jack on the top of the radio.
• The radio's internal speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.

5.6 Lock Screen Function

To prevent accidental button presses, activate the lock screen function.

• Press the LOCK button (usually indicated by a padlock icon) to lock the controls.
• Press the LOCK button again to unlock the controls.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the radio regularly, even if not in constant use.
• Water Exposure: This radio is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
