4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Placement
Place the dehumidifier in an area where humidity control is desired. Ensure it is on a firm, level surface and there are no obstructions to the air intake (rear) and outlet (top).
4.2 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. As mentioned in safety, allow the unit to stand upright for 2 hours before plugging it in for the first time.
4.3 Drainage Options
Your Humsure Dehumidifier offers two convenient ways to manage collected water:
- Manual Drainage: The unit will collect water in its 1.5-liter internal tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the tank, empty the water, and reinsert it.
- Continuous Drainage: For extended operation without manual emptying, attach the included drainage hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink, or larger container) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity flow.

5. Operating Instructions

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The dehumidifier features an easy-to-clean integrated air inlet grille and filter. Regularly clean the filter to prevent dust buildup, which can reduce efficiency.
- Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Locate the air inlet grille on the back of the unit.
- Gently open or remove the grille to access the filter.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

6.2 Emptying the Water Tank
