Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack the egg boiler and all its accessories.
  2. Wash the transparent lid, egg basket, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Place the egg boiler on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to boil eggs to your preferred consistency:

  1. Prepare Eggs: Using the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup, carefully pierce the large end of each egg. This helps prevent the eggs from cracking during boiling.
  2. Add Water: Use the measuring cup to add the appropriate amount of water to the heating plate. The measuring cup has markings for Soft, Medium, and Hard boiled eggs. Adjust the water level based on the number of eggs and desired consistency.
    • For Soft-boiled eggs: Fill water to the 'Soft' line.
    • For Medium-boiled eggs: Fill water to the 'Medium' line.
    • For Hard-boiled eggs: Fill water to the 'Hard' line.
  3. Place Eggs: Place the pierced eggs into the egg basket. You can boil up to 6 eggs at a time.
  4. Cover and Power On: Place the transparent lid securely on the egg boiler. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the On/Off button. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Cooking Process: The water will heat up and steam the eggs. The power indicator light will remain on during the cooking cycle.
  6. Eggs Ready: Once the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked to the desired consistency, the buzzer will sound, indicating that the eggs are ready. The power indicator light will turn off.
  7. Remove Eggs: Immediately unplug the appliance from the outlet. Carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot) and use oven mitts or a cloth to lift the egg basket. Rinse the eggs under cold water or place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your egg boiler.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash Removable Parts: The transparent lid, egg basket, and measuring cup can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are not dishwasher safe.
  3. Clean Heating Plate: After use, mineral deposits (scale) may form on the heating plate. To remove these:
    • Add a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) to the heating plate.
    • Let it soak for 10-15 minutes. For stubborn deposits, you can gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge.
    • Rinse the heating plate with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  4. Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  5. Storage: Store the clean and dry egg boiler in a cool, dry place.
