Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camcorder.
2. Slide the battery compartment latch to open the cover.
3. Insert the provided Lithium Ion battery, ensuring the correct orientation according to the diagram inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

2. Memory Card Insertion

The camcorder uses SD (Secure Digital) memory cards. A 32GB SD card is recommended for optimal performance.

1. Locate the SD card slot, typically near the battery compartment or on the side of the camcorder.
2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down (or as indicated by the slot diagram) until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

3. Initial Power On

1. Open the LCD screen. This action typically powers on the camcorder.
2. Alternatively, press and hold the POWER button located near the LCD screen hinge.
3. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial setup, such as setting the date and time.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Open/close the LCD screen or press the POWER button.
• Mode Selection: Press the MODE button to cycle through available modes (Video, Photo, Playback, Slow Motion, Time-Lapse, etc.).
• Navigation: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate menus and the OK button to confirm selections.

2. Recording Video

1. Ensure the camcorder is in Video mode.
2. Press the RECORD button (usually a red button) to start recording.
3. Press the RECORD button again to stop recording.
4. To use the pause function during recording, press the OK button. Press OK again to resume recording in the same file.

3. Taking Photos

1. Switch to Photo mode using the MODE button.
2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
3. Press the PHOTO button (often integrated with the record button or a separate shutter button) to capture the image.

4. Zoom Function

The camcorder features 18X digital zoom. Use the zoom lever (usually located near the top or side of the camcorder) to zoom in or out.

5. LCD Screen Usage

The 3-inch LCD screen can be rotated for various viewing angles, including facing forward for vlogging or selfies. It also serves as your primary interface for menu navigation and playback.

6. Webcam Function

Your camcorder can function as a webcam. Connect it to your computer using the supplied USB-C cable. Select the "Webcam" option on the camcorder's screen if prompted. This allows for live streaming or video calls through compatible software.

7. Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance, including starting/stopping recording, taking photos, and navigating menus.
