1. Introduction and Overview

The Adamson TimelyMed Smart Pill Dispenser is designed to assist with medication management, ensuring timely and accurate dosage for users. This automatic dispenser features WiFi app monitoring, audio and visual reminders, and a secure locking mechanism. It is ideal for individuals requiring consistent medication schedules, including elderly patients and those with memory impairments.

Key features include:

2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully unpack all components. Ensure the dispenser, power cable, AC adapter, 2 lock keys, and 9 dosage rings are present. Inspect the device for any visible damage.

2.2 Powering the Device

The dispenser is continuously powered by the included power cable and AC adapter. For backup power, in case the device is unplugged, it is equipped with a Lithium-Ion battery (1 required, lasts 1-2 days). Insert the battery into the designated compartment on the underside of the dispenser.

2.3 App Installation and Pairing

Download the complimentary Adamson TimelyMed app from your device's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store). Follow the in-app instructions to pair your dispenser with your smartphone via WiFi (supports both 2.4 & 5.0 GHz). This enables remote scheduling and monitoring.

2.6 Securing the Dispenser

Close the dispenser lid securely. Use one of the provided lock keys to lock the dispenser, restricting access to the pills. This is crucial for safety, especially in households with children or individuals who might tamper with medication.
