4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the V8 Finder Pro. Connect the provided AC/DC adapter to the device's charging port and plug it into a power outlet. The red charging indicator light (Figure 3.4) will illuminate. Once fully charged, the blue light will turn on.
4.2 Connecting to a Display (Optional)

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button located on the front panel to turn the device on or off.
5.2 Main Menu Navigation
Use the arrow keys (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) to navigate through the menu options on the screen. Press OK to confirm a selection or enter a submenu. Press EXIT to return to the previous menu.
5.3 Signal Measurement (DVB-S2X/S2/S, DVB-T2/T, DVB-C)
To measure signal strength and quality for different broadcasting standards:
- From the main menu, select the desired mode (e.g., DVB-S2 for satellite, DVB-T2 for terrestrial, DVB-C for cable).

- Select the satellite you wish to align with.
- The device will display the calculated AZ and EL angles. Use these as a guide to position your satellite dish.

5.5 Software Upgrade
To ensure optimal performance and access new features, it is recommended to keep the device's software updated.
- Download the latest firmware file from the official PREVCHA website or technical support portal.
- Copy the firmware file to the root directory of a USB flash drive.
- Insert the USB flash drive into the device's USB port.
