Introduction

The SVD.PET Pet Training Mat is designed to safely and effectively train your pets by creating boundaries and deterring them from unwanted areas. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for its use, ensuring optimal performance and the safety of your pets.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The SVD.PET Pet Training Mat requires a 9V battery (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:

1. Slide open the battery lid on the control box.
2. Align the battery terminals with the control box terminals as indicated by the printed diagram inside the compartment. Ensure the negative terminal is on the left and the positive terminal is on the right.
3. Insert the battery top-down into the control box battery compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover.

2. Initial Mat Calibration and Testing

After installing the battery, the mat will calibrate itself for the first minute. During this time, there will be no static shock when touched. After one minute, the mat will function normally. It is recommended to test the mat's functionality before full deployment.

1. Turn on the control box by pressing the power button. If the LED lights flash and the unit beeps, the control box is working.
2. Switch to Beep Mode. The LED light should turn blue.
3. To check if the mat is working, touch two adjacent lines on the mat with your bare hand. If the unit beeps, the training mat is working.
4. If the unit does not beep, turn off the control box. Peel off the waterproof sticker on the back of the training mat. Use the provided screwdriver to tighten the two small screws connecting the control box to the mat, then replace the sticker. Turn the unit back on and re-test in Beep Mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Training Modes and Intensity Levels

The SVD.PET Pet Training Mat offers three distinct training modes and five intensity levels to suit various pet sensitivities and training needs:

• Beep Mode: Provides an audible deterrent (90-110 dB) without static correction. Ideal for pets sensitive to sound or as an initial training step.
• Static Mode: Delivers a mild static correction.
• Static + Beep Mode: Combines both audible and static correction for comprehensive training.

Each mode features 5 levels of intensity, allowing you to customize the training experience for small to large cats or dogs. This flexibility helps prevent pets from accessing unwanted areas such as sofas, beds, counters, or vehicles (for indoor use only).

2. Pet Safe Smart Protection

For the safety of your pet and the product, the mat features Smart Protection. If the control unit detects a pet, child, or any conductive material on the training mat for more than 5 seconds, the Static Mode will automatically disable, and an alarm will sound. Once the mat is cleared or vacated, training functions will automatically restore to normal.

Maintenance

The SVD.PET Pet Training Mat is constructed from a high-quality PU material, making it easy to clean and store. To maintain optimal performance and durability:

• When cleaning the training mat, always unsnap the controller to keep it dry.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the mat, as this may damage the internal wires.
• The mat features upgraded static detection lines made from a 5-thread system, improving efficiency and durability against damage from pet's nails.
• A higher density of detection lines (reduced spacing from 25mm to 20mm) enhances precision and ensures compatibility with even the smallest paws.
