2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the machine.
  3. Allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported horizontally. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

2.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker.

  1. Open the lid and remove the ice basket.
  2. Clean the interior with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Drain any remaining water by removing the drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
  4. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

2.3 Adding Water

The ice maker operates by circulating water from its reservoir. Use potable water only.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Starting Ice Production

  1. After adding water, plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to start the ice making cycle. The "WORK" indicator light will illuminate.
  3. The first batch of ice cubes will be ready in approximately 6-10 minutes. Subsequent cycles may be faster.
  4. The machine will automatically continue to make ice until the ice basket is full or the water level is low.

3.2 Indicator Lights

  • WORK (Green): Indicates the machine is actively making ice.
  • ADD WATER (Red): Illuminates when the water reservoir is low and needs refilling. The machine will pause operation until water is added.
  • ICE FULL (Red): Illuminates when the ice basket is full. The machine will pause operation until ice is removed.

3.3 Removing Ice Cubes

Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice cubes from the basket. For best results, transfer freshly made ice to a freezer for storage to prevent melting.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Automatic Self-Cleaning Function

The Cumeod Ice Maker is equipped with an automatic self-cleaning function to simplify maintenance.

  1. Ensure there is water in the reservoir.
  2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
  3. The "WORK", "ADD WATER", and "ICE FULL" indicator lights will all illuminate, indicating the self-cleaning program has started.
  4. The cleaning cycle will run for a few minutes. Once complete, drain the water from the unit.

4.2 Regular Cleaning and Draining

For optimal performance and hygiene, regular manual cleaning is recommended, especially if the machine is not used frequently or if the water quality is poor.

  3. Drain all water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the unit.

5. Troubleshooting
