Setup Instructions

  1. Choose a Location: Place the Clean Base on a hard, level surface against a wall. Ensure there is at least 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) of clear space on each side of the Clean Base and 4 feet (1.2 meters) in front of it. Avoid placing it near stairs or obstacles that could interfere with your Roomba's navigation.
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the Clean Base and then into a wall outlet. Ensure the power cord is not obstructing the Roomba's path.
  3. Prepare Your Roomba: Ensure your Roomba j Series robot vacuum is equipped with a compatible dust bin that features a green evacuation port/flap on the bottom. This port is essential for the Clean Base to automatically empty the robot's dust bin. If your Roomba does not have this, you will need to acquire a compatible dust bin separately.
  4. Dock Your Roomba: Manually place your Roomba onto the Clean Base. The robot should align itself and begin charging. The Clean Base will automatically detect the Roomba and prepare for dirt disposal.

Operation

The caSino187 Clean Base is designed to work seamlessly with your Roomba j Series robot vacuum to provide automatic dirt disposal.

  1. Automatic Emptying: After your Roomba completes a cleaning job and returns to the Clean Base, or when its dust bin is full during a cleaning cycle, the Clean Base will automatically activate its powerful vacuum to empty the contents of the Roomba's dust bin into a sealed disposal bag located inside the Clean Base. This process typically takes a few seconds.
  2. Charging: The Clean Base also serves as the charging station for your Roomba. Ensure the Roomba is properly docked for continuous charging.
  3. App Control: For advanced settings and monitoring, refer to your Roomba's companion mobile application. The Clean Base integrates with the Roomba's system to manage emptying cycles.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Clean Base.

Replacing the Dirt Disposal Bag

The Clean Base uses sealed bags to contain dirt and debris. Replace the bag when the indicator light on the Clean Base or the Roomba app notifies you, or approximately every 30-60 days depending on usage and pet hair accumulation.

  1. Open the Lid: Lift the lid of the Clean Base to access the bag compartment.
  2. Remove Old Bag: Carefully pull the old bag upwards from the compartment. The bag opening will automatically seal to prevent dust from escaping.
  3. Insert New Bag: Insert a new caSino187 compatible dirt disposal bag into the compartment, ensuring it sits securely.
  4. Close Lid: Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.
