4. Setup and Assembly

2. Assemble the Base: Insert the five caster wheels into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair's star base. Ensure they click securely into place.
3. Install the Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base.
4. Attach the Mechanism: Secure the seat mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
5. Connect Seat to Base: Carefully place the assembled seat cushion (with mechanism) onto the gas lift cylinder.

5. Operating and Adjustments

• Seat Height Adjustment: Locate the lever under the seat (usually on the right side). To raise the seat, lift the lever while taking your weight off the chair. To lower, lift the lever while seated. Adjust until your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are bent at a 90-110 degree angle. If your feet don't reach, consider using a footrest.
• Seat Depth Adjustment: Sit upright and adjust the seat depth so that there is approximately a 'fist distance' (four fingers) between the back of your knees and the front edge of the seat. This prevents pressure on blood vessels and nerves in your legs.
• Backrest Recline: Use the recline lever (typically on the left side) to adjust the backrest angle from 90 to 170 degrees.
