2. Important Safety Information
Before using the treadmill, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Always consult with a physician before starting any new exercise program.
- Place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance around it (at least 2 meters behind and 1 meter on each side).
- Ensure the safety key is properly attached to both the treadmill and your clothing before beginning your workout. The treadmill will stop if the safety key is disengaged.
- Do not allow children or pets near the treadmill while it is in operation.
- Keep hands and feet clear of all moving parts.
- Wear appropriate athletic footwear and clothing. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in the machine.
- The maximum user weight for this treadmill is 100 kg. Do not exceed this limit.
- Unplug the treadmill from the power outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or before performing any maintenance.
- Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.

4. Setup and Assembly
The Cecotec DrumFit WayHome 1400 Sprint Treadmill requires some assembly. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check the parts list to ensure all items are present.
- Base Stabilization: Place the main base frame on a level surface.
- Upright Frame Installation: Attach the upright support frames to the base. Secure them with the provided bolts and tools.
- Control Panel Attachment: Mount the control panel onto the top of the upright frames. Connect any necessary cables as indicated in the assembly diagram (refer to the included assembly guide for detailed diagrams).
- Handrail Assembly: Secure the handrails to the upright frames.
- Power Connection: Once fully assembled, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
4.1 Manual Incline Adjustment
The treadmill features a manual incline system with 3 levels. To adjust the incline:
- Ensure the treadmill is off and unplugged.
- Locate the incline adjustment mechanism at the rear of the treadmill deck.
- Lift the running deck slightly and adjust the support pins to the desired incline level. Ensure both sides are set to the same level for stability.
- Lower the deck gently until it locks into place.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The LCD control panel allows you to monitor and control your workout. It displays speed, time, distance, and calories burned.

5.2 Starting a Workout
- Ensure the treadmill is plugged in and the main power switch (if present) is on.
- Attach the safety key clip to your clothing and insert the safety key into its designated slot on the control panel. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key.
- Step onto the side rails of the treadmill.
- Press the "START" button. The belt will begin to move at a low speed.
- Carefully step onto the running belt and begin walking.
5.3 Adjusting Speed
Use the speed control buttons (+ and -) on the control panel to increase or decrease the belt speed. The speed range is from 1 to 14 km/h.
5.4 Using Preset Programs
The treadmill includes 12 preset programs designed to vary your workout intensity. To select a program:
- From the standby mode, press the "PROGRAM" button to cycle through the available programs (P1-P12).
- Once you have selected your desired program, press "START" to begin the workout. The treadmill will automatically adjust speed according to the program's profile.
5.5 Monitoring Heart Rate
To monitor your heart rate, grip the heart rate sensors located on the handrails. Your heart rate will be displayed on the LCD screen after a few seconds.
5.6 Stopping a Workout
To stop the treadmill, press the "STOP" button. The belt will gradually slow down and come to a complete stop. Alternatively, pulling the safety key will immediately stop the treadmill.

6. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Belt Lubrication: The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and wear. Refer to the specific lubrication instructions in the full user manual for your model. Typically, this involves applying silicone lubricant under the belt every few months, depending on usage.
- Belt Tension and Alignment: Check the running belt tension and alignment regularly. If the belt slips or drifts to one side, adjust it according to the instructions in the full user manual.
- Storage: When not in use, the treadmill can be folded vertically for compact storage. Ensure it is securely locked in the folded position. Use the transport wheels to move it.

7. Troubleshooting
