4. Operating Instructions

The SUSTEAS Electric Indoor Grill is designed for user-friendly operation.

  1. Power On: Plug the grill into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The red indicator light will illuminate, indicating the power is on.
  2. Preheat: Turn the temperature control knob to your desired setting (Min to Max, 365°F-410°F). The green indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the grill is preheating. Once the set temperature is reached, the green light will turn off.
  3. Cooking Modes:
    • Panini Press/Contact Grill: Place food on the bottom plate and gently lower the top plate. The floating hinge will adjust to the thickness of your food, ensuring even cooking.
    • 180-Degree Open Grill: To use as a flat grill, press the release button on the side of the hinge and open the top plate completely until it lies flat, creating two large cooking surfaces. This is ideal for grilling multiple items simultaneously.
  4. Cooking: Place your food on the preheated grill plates. Cook until desired doneness is achieved.
  5. Power Off: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob to the 'OFF' position and unplug the grill from the outlet.
