1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the DAUZ Mini Rice Cooker & Electric Stew Pot. 2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the inner pot, lid, measuring cup, and spoon with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from water sources.
  4. Assemble: Place the clean, dry inner pot into the main unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Cooking Rice

  1. Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to add the desired amount of rice to the inner pot.
  2. Rinse Rice (Optional): Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Add Water: Add water to the inner pot according to the markings on the pot (e.g., for 1 cup of rice, fill water to the '1' line). Ensure the total volume does not exceed the MAX water line.
  4. Place Inner Pot: Place the inner pot with rice and water into the main unit.
  5. Close Lid: Securely close the lid.
  6. Connect Power: Insert the power cord plug into the power socket on the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
  7. Select Function: Use the control panel to select the desired cooking function (e.g., "White Rice"). The indicator light will illuminate.
  8. Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button. The cooker will begin the cooking process.
  9. Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" function, indicated by a different light.
  10. Serve: Use the provided spoon to serve the rice. Avoid using metal utensils to prevent scratching the non-stick coating.

5.2. Cooking Soup/Porridge or Stewing

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Add your desired ingredients for soup, porridge, or stew to the inner pot.
  2. Add Liquid: Add the appropriate amount of water or broth. Ensure the total volume does not exceed the MAX water line.
  3. Place Inner Pot: Place the inner pot into the main unit.
  4. Close Lid: Securely close the lid.
  5. Connect Power: Insert the power cord plug into the power socket on the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
  6. Select Function: Use the control panel to select the "Soup" or appropriate cooking function.
  7. Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button. The cooker will begin the cooking process.
  8. Monitor: For certain recipes, occasional stirring may be required. Exercise caution when opening the lid during cooking due to hot steam.
  9. Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" function.

5.3. Smart Reservation Function
