- Unroll and Unseal: Gently unroll the compressed mattress. Cut and remove the outer plastic wrapping. The mattress will begin to expand immediately.
- Allow for Full Expansion: Allow 24 to 72 hours for the mattress to fully expand to its original shape and size. During this time, it is recommended to let the mattress lie flat in a well-ventilated room.
- Ventilation for Odor: A new mattress may have a slight, harmless odor (off-gassing) upon unboxing. This is normal and will dissipate with proper ventilation. To expedite this, open windows and ensure good airflow in the room. The odor typically fades within a few days to a few weeks.
