Setup and Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the SYPOM A43 jump starter.

  1. Connect the included Type-C USB cable to the jump starter's input port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V/2A or higher USB wall adapter (not included).
  3. The LCD screen will display the charging status. Charge until the screen shows "100% IN".
  4. A full charge typically takes several hours. It is recommended to recharge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories. Engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect Smart Clamps: Insert the blue plug of the smart battery clamps firmly into the jump starter's 12V output port. Ensure a secure connection.
  3. Attach to Battery:
    • Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the vehicle's positive battery terminal.
    • Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the vehicle's negative battery terminal.

    The smart clamp indicator light will show the connection status. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump start.

  4. Start the Vehicle: Once the smart clamp indicator is solid green, start your vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait 30 seconds and try again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
  5. Remove Clamps: As soon as the vehicle starts, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp from the vehicle battery. Finally, unplug the smart clamps from the jump starter.

Charging Other Devices (Power Bank Function)

The SYPOM A43 can charge portable electronic devices via its USB output ports.

  1. Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the jump starter's USB output ports (QC 3.0 or 5V/2.4A).
  2. The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device. The LCD screen will show "OUT" and the current output status.
  3. Disconnect your device once charging is complete.

LED Flashlight Operation

The built-in LED flashlight offers three modes for various situations.

  1. Turn On/Off: Press and hold the flashlight button for 3 seconds to turn the LED light on or off.
  2. Change Modes: While the light is on, short press the flashlight button to cycle through the modes: Constant Illumination → Strobe → SOS.

Maintenance and Storage
