4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your EVERSECU security system.

4.1 Initial Hardware Connection

1. Connect the NVR: Plug the NVR into a power outlet using the provided power adapter. Connect the NVR to a monitor (VGA or HDMI) and attach the USB mouse.
2. Connect to Network (Optional but Recommended): For remote viewing and updates, connect the NVR to your router using the supplied Ethernet cable.
3. Power On Cameras: Plug each camera into a power outlet using its respective power adapter. The cameras will automatically connect to the NVR's dedicated Wi-Fi network.

4.2 Camera Installation

Mount the cameras in desired outdoor or indoor locations, ensuring they are within range of a power outlet. The cameras are pre-paired with the NVR for plug-and-play setup.

4.3 Remote Viewing Setup

To view your security feed remotely on your smartphone, tablet, or PC:

1. Mobile App: Download the free "XMEYE" app from Android Google Play or Apple APP Store. Register a new account and add your device ID. You can then view video via Wi-Fi or 2G/3G/4G networks.
2. PC/Laptop: For Windows users, use the CMS Software. For MAC users, use the MAC CMS Software. Contact EVERSECU for software download links.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Recording and Storage

The NVR supports recording to a TF (microSD) card (up to 128GB) or an external hard drive (not included). Recording modes include continuous recording and motion detection recording.

5.2 Smart Detection Features

Leverage the intelligent detection capabilities of your system:

• Face Capture/Record/Playback: The system can capture faces detected by the cameras. Recorded videos can be organized and played back based on captured faces. You can also receive automatic notifications upon face detection.
• Line Crossing/Intrusion Detection: Define specific areas or lines in the camera's field of view. The system will instantly detect any motion crossing these lines or entering these areas and send immediate alerts to your smart device.
• Motion Detection and Email Alerts: Receive email alerts or app notifications upon general motion detection. Ensure proper setup to avoid excessive alerts.

5.3 Video Playback and Backup

The system supports sync-playback, allowing you to review recorded footage efficiently. You can also back up video files to external storage devices.
