3. Setup and Installation
Unpacking
- Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
- Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, contact customer support immediately.
- Remove all packing materials and ensure no components are left inside the unit.
Positioning the Unit
- Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight.
- Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet for optimal performance.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Drainage Setup (Built-in Pump)
The unit features a built-in heavy-duty pump for continuous drainage, allowing water to be discharged vertically up to 15 feet.
- Locate the drain port on the unit.
- Connect the provided 16.5 ft drain hose securely to the drain port.
- Route the other end of the drain hose to a suitable drainage location, such as a sink, floor drain, or outside. Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed.

4. Operation
Control Panel Overview

Initial Startup and Humidity Setting
- Press the POWER button to turn on the unit. The display will show the current room humidity.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set your desired humidity level. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle off. It will restart automatically if humidity rises above the set level.
- For continuous operation, set the humidity to the lowest possible value (e.g., 10% RH).
Timer Function
The 24-hour timer allows you to schedule the unit to turn ON or OFF automatically.
- To set Auto-OFF: While the unit is running, press the TIMER button. Use UP/DOWN to select the desired number of hours (1-24) after which the unit will turn off.
- To set Auto-ON: While the unit is off, press the TIMER button. Use UP/DOWN to select the desired number of hours (1-24) after which the unit will turn on.
Auto Defrost Function
The unit is equipped with an automatic defrost function to ensure continuous operation in low-temperature environments (recommended working temperature range: 41℉-104℉).
- If frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the unit will automatically enter defrost mode. The compressor will shut down, but the fan will continue to run.
- The 'DEFROST' indicator light will illuminate.
- Once defrosting is complete, the unit will automatically resume normal dehumidification operation.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning the Air Filter

- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
