Setup

Mounting the Player

The WONNIE Headrest Video Player offers two primary installation methods to fit most car headrests: using headrest straps or the detachable mounting bracket.

  1. Using Headrest Straps:
    • Securely attach the two headrest straps to the back of the player.
    • Wrap the straps around the headrest posts of the desired car seat.
    • Adjust the straps to ensure the player is firmly and safely positioned against the headrest.
  2. Using Detachable Mounting Bracket:
    • Attach the mounting bracket to the headrest posts. Ensure it is stable.
    • Slide the video player onto the mounting bracket until it clicks into place.
    • Verify that the player is securely attached and does not wobble.

Power Connection

Connect the provided car charger to the DC IN port on the side of the player and plug the other end into your car's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the Power button located on the side of the device to turn the player on or off.

USB Card Playback

The player supports USB drives up to 32GB and various media formats. Insert your USB drive into the USB port on the side of the player. The device will automatically detect the content or allow you to navigate through the menu to select media files.

HDMI Input & Screen Mirroring

Connect external devices such as mobile phones, gaming consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch), Firesticks, or computers to the player using an HDMI cable (not included). This allows for screen mirroring and displaying content from your device on the player's screen. The player supports HDMI protocol version up to 1.4.

HDMI Output & Sync to TV/Projector

The player can also output its display to a larger TV screen or projector via the HDMI OUT port (HDMI cable not included). This feature allows you to share content from the player on a larger display.

Audio Output

The player features built-in stereo speakers. For private listening or connecting to external audio systems, use the 3.5mm earphone jack. The included 3.5mm-RCA cable can be used to connect to compatible external speakers or car audio systems.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the player. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting
