Setup
1. Power Connection

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Hournor Digital Alarm Clock, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.
- Placement: Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity to prevent damage to internal components and maintain display clarity.
- Power Supply: Always use a compatible 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB power adapter to prevent electrical damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Clock display is off or flickering. | Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to both the clock and a functional 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB adapter. Excessive voltage can cause flickering. |
| Temperature reading seems inaccurate. | The clock's temperature sensor provides an indoor ambient temperature reading. Minor variations compared to external thermometers are possible. Ensure the clock is not placed near heat sources or air conditioning vents. |
| The colon (:) between hours and minutes blinks constantly. | This is a standard design feature of the clock to indicate seconds passing. It is not an error. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Verify that the alarm is set correctly and is activated (check for the alarm icon on the display). Ensure the volume is not set to zero if adjustable. |
| Cannot adjust settings. | Ensure you are pressing and holding the correct button (e.g., 'TIME SET', 'ALARM SET') to enter setting mode. If buttons are unresponsive, try unplugging and re-plugging the power cable to reset. |
