Operation
1. Basic Recording
The DVR system supports 4-channel 1920x1080 @30fps real-time recording. It operates on a loop recording principle, continuously recording and overwriting the oldest footage when the storage is full. The included 1TB SSD provides ample storage capacity.

2. G-Sensor Functionality
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements such as hard acceleration, abrupt braking, speeding, and impacts. In such events, the system automatically saves and locks the relevant footage to prevent it from being overwritten.
3. Remote Live View and Tracking
Utilize the 4G and Wi-Fi modules for data transmission, enabling remote live viewing on PC, web browsers, and iOS/Android smartphones. The built-in GPS module records location information, allowing for playback of vehicle tracks and comprehensive fleet management.

4. Motion Detection
The system supports motion detection with customizable alarm times and detection areas. When motion is detected, the system can trigger an alarm, lock video footage, send app push notifications, and generate alarm reports. This feature is active when the engine is off.

5. 4-Channel Alarm Input
The DVR supports four trigger inputs. Upon activation of a trigger, the system can automatically switch to a full-screen display of the relevant camera and lock the footage.
6. Delay Record
The system can continue recording for up to 24 hours after the vehicle's engine is shut down, drawing power from the vehicle's battery. Additionally, built-in capacitors provide an 8-second backup recording in case of immediate power loss.
7. Geo Fence
Set up geographical boundaries (geo-fences) and receive alerts if the vehicle deviates from the defined routes or enters/exits specified areas.
8. Mirror Image and Multi-mode Display
The system supports horizontal and vertical image flipping for any camera channel via the menu, allowing for flexible camera mounting. Multiple display modes are available for viewing camera feeds simultaneously on the monitor.

9. USB Functionality
The USB port allows for backing up video footage or connecting a mouse for easier navigation of the DVR's graphical user interface (GUI).
10. Remote Control
Use the included remote controller and extended remote receiver to operate the DVR system conveniently without direct access to the unit.

Maintenance
1. DVR Unit Care
The DVR unit features an aluminum die-cast chassis with a fanless design, making it adaptable to various working environments. Keep the unit free from dust and ensure proper ventilation around its mounting location.
2. Camera Care
The cameras are IP68 waterproof and constructed with full metal for durability. Regularly clean the camera lenses to ensure clear image quality. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
3. Storage Management
The system utilizes loop recording, automatically managing storage space. Periodically review recorded footage and back up any critical events via the USB port to an external storage device.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JOINLGO V80-4GW DVR system, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure all power connections are secure and the vehicle's battery has sufficient charge. Check fuses if applicable.
- No Video Display: Verify that cameras are properly connected to the DVR and the monitor is correctly connected to the DVR via VGA or HDMI. Check cable integrity.
- Recording Issues: Confirm the SSD is correctly installed and has sufficient space (though loop recording manages this automatically, a faulty SSD could cause issues).
- GPS/4G/WiFi Connectivity Problems: Ensure antennas are securely attached and positioned for optimal signal reception. Check network settings on the DVR and your mobile device/PC.
- Remote Access Failure: Verify internet connectivity for both the DVR (via 4G/WiFi) and your remote viewing device. Ensure correct login credentials for the app/web platform.
- Image Quality Issues: Clean camera lenses. Check for physical damage to cameras or cables.
