Operating the Watch
Reading the Display
Your Casio MTP-V006D-1C watch features a classic analog display with hour, minute, and second hands. The day of the week and the date are displayed in dedicated windows at the 3 o'clock position. The dial also includes a 24-hour track for additional time reference.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Avoid operating the crown while the watch is wet to prevent water intrusion.
Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
Wipe the watch case and band periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For stainless steel bands, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one LR44 battery. When the watch stops or the second hand moves erratically, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Watch is not running:
- Check if the crown is pushed all the way in. If it is, the battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch technician.
- Date changes at noon instead of midnight:
- The 24-hour setting is incorrect. Advance the time by 12 hours. Pull the crown out to the second click and rotate the hands forward by 12 hours. Push the crown back in.
- Water condensation inside the watch:
- This indicates a breach in the watch's water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a qualified service center to prevent further damage.
