Operating with New Accessories

Once the replacement accessories are installed, your Zigma Spark robot vacuum is ready for operation. The new components will contribute to improved cleaning efficiency:

  • Side Brushes: Effectively sweep debris from edges and corners into the main cleaning path.
  • HEPA Filters: Capture fine dust particles and allergens, improving air quality.
  • Mop Cloths: Provide wet cleaning for hard floors, removing stains and grime.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and timely replacement of accessories are crucial for maintaining your robot vacuum's performance.

1. Side Brushes

  • Cleaning: Remove hair and debris tangled around the brushes regularly (e.g., weekly).
  • Replacement: Replace every 3-6 months, or sooner if visibly worn or damaged.

2. HEPA Filters

  • Cleaning: Gently tap the filter against a trash can to remove accumulated dust. Do not wash HEPA filters with water, as this can damage the filter material.
  • Replacement: Replace every 2-3 months, or more frequently if your home has pets or high dust levels.

3. Mop Cloths

  • Cleaning: Remove and wash the mop cloth after each use. Hand washing with mild detergent is recommended. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Replacement: Replace every 1-3 months, or if the cloth becomes heavily stained or loses its cleaning effectiveness.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues after replacing accessories, consider the following:

  • Reduced Cleaning Performance: Check if the HEPA filter is clogged or if the side brushes are tangled with hair. Ensure all components are installed correctly.
  • Unusual Noise: Verify that side brushes are free of obstructions and properly seated.
  • Mop Cloth Not Wetting: Ensure the water tank is filled and the mop cloth is correctly attached to the module.
