Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For resin straps, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Water Resistance (10 ATM)
Your Marea B25174/5 watch is water-resistant up to 10 ATM (100 meters). This means it is suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling. However, it is not suitable for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is submerged in water to prevent water ingress.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time following the instructions in the 'Setting Time and Date' section. Ensure the 12/24 hour format is correctly selected.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have one). If the issue persists, a battery replacement might be necessary, or contact support.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to open it yourself.
