Eyewear is recommended (not included) for all users and bystanders. Do not aim at eyes or face. Use only official Nerf Rival rounds. Other rounds may not be safe. Do not modify the blaster or rounds.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Nerf Rival Challenger MXXIV-1200 requires 8 AA batteries (not included). To install batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the blaster.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
2. Loading the Magazine
The blaster uses a curved 12-round magazine and comes with 18 Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds. Accu-Rounds feature an improved aerodynamic design for consistent flight.
- Hold the curved magazine.
- Insert the Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds into the top opening of the magazine, pushing them down against the spring.
- Ensure all rounds are seated correctly and the magazine is not overfilled.

3. Attaching the Magazine
Once loaded, insert the magazine into the blaster's magazine well until it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Firing
- Ensure the magazine is loaded and securely inserted.
- Press and hold the rev trigger (located below the main trigger) to power up the motor. You will hear the motor spinning.
- While holding the rev trigger, pull the main firing trigger to unleash one Nerf Rival Accu-Round at a time.
2. Trigger Lock
The blaster features a trigger lock for safety. Engage the trigger lock when the blaster is not in use to prevent accidental firing.
3. Tactical Rails and Carabiner Clip
The blaster includes tactical rails for customizing with Nerf accessories (not included) and a spring-loaded carabiner clip to attach the blaster to belt loops or backpacks.

Maintenance
1. General Care
- Keep the blaster clean and free from dirt or debris.

2. Cleaning
Wipe the blaster with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the blaster in water or use harsh chemicals.
3. Round Compatibility
The magazine is compatible with most standard Nerf Rival magazine-fed blasters. However, some older Nerf Rival magazines may not be fully compatible with the Challenger MXXIV-1200 due to design changes in the magazine retention mechanism. Always use official Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds for optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshooting
- Blaster Not Firing:
- Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the rev trigger is fully pressed and held before pulling the firing trigger.
- Verify the trigger lock is disengaged.
- Confirm the magazine is securely inserted and loaded with rounds.
- Rounds Not Feeding:
- Check if the magazine is properly loaded and inserted.
- Ensure only official Nerf Rival Accu-Rounds are used. Damaged or unofficial rounds may cause feeding issues.
- Inspect the magazine for any obstructions or damage.
- Motor Issues:
- If the motor does not rev up or sounds weak, replace the batteries.
- If issues persist after replacing batteries, contact customer support.
