Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the doll with a damp cloth to clean. Do not immerse in water. The fabric skirt can be removed for handwashing if needed.
- Battery Care: If the doll's responses become slow or erratic, it may be time to replace the batteries. Always use fresh AA batteries. Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Storage: Store the doll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Doll does not turn on or respond. | Check that the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position. Ensure batteries are correctly installed and are not depleted. Replace with fresh batteries if necessary. |
| Doll's movements or sounds are weak. | This usually indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 AA batteries with new ones. |
| Doll does not respond to clapping/talking. | Ensure you are making clear, distinct sounds close enough to the doll. The doll responds to general sounds, not specific voice commands. |
| Volume is too loud/quiet. | The Peppa Pig doll does not feature adjustable volume control. |
