Operating Instructions

Index Finger Trackball Control

The EM03 features a 44mm trackball designed for index finger control. This allows you to move the cursor by rolling the trackball with your finger, reducing wrist and arm movement and potential strain. This design is particularly beneficial in confined spaces or for users seeking ergonomic comfort.

Button Functions

  • Left Click: Located where your thumb rests for easy access.
  • Right Click: Positioned on the right side of the trackball.
  • Scroll Wheel: A separate scroll wheel is provided for vertical scrolling, independent of trackball movement.
  • Extra Buttons: Additional buttons are available for customizable functions, often used for forward/back navigation or gaming shortcuts.

DPI Adjustment

The mouse offers 5 adjustable DPI levels (200/400/800/1200/1600 DPI) for precise cursor sensitivity. To change the DPI, press and hold the scroll wheel and the right button simultaneously for 5 seconds. The cursor sensitivity will adjust accordingly.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Trackball

Troubleshooting

  • Connectivity Issues: Ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted or that Bluetooth is enabled and paired correctly. Try re-pairing the device.
  • Trackball Not Smooth/Sticking: Remove the trackball and clean it along with the internal sensors as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Buttons Not Responding: Check the battery level and recharge if necessary. Ensure the mouse is properly connected to your device.
  • Short Battery Life: Turn off the RGB lighting when not needed, as it consumes more power. Ensure the mouse is fully charged before use.
