5. Setup and Installation
These ultra-thin LED recessed lights are designed for easy installation without the need for a traditional recessed can. Follow these steps for a secure and proper setup.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Cut a Hole: Use the provided cutting template or measure a 6-3/8 inch (approximately 161.9mm) diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired location. Ensure there are no obstructions like joists or pipes.
- Connect Wiring: Open the junction box cover. Connect the house wiring (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using the provided UL-certified wire terminals. Ensure all connections are secure.
