3. Setup Guide

The Vipdrive Electric Bike Climber arrives 85% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unboxing and Inspection: Carefully remove the bike from its packaging. Remove all protective wrapping and check that all parts listed in the packing list are included and undamaged.
  2. Install the Saddle: Insert the seat post with the saddle into the seat tube. Ensure the saddle is set between the safety markings engraved on the seat post. Tighten the quick release lever securely.
  3. Install the Rear Reflector: Attach the rear reflector to the seat post below the saddle. Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver tool.
  4. Install the Stem and Handlebars: Loosen the screws on the stem and rotate it forward. Attach the handlebar on top of the stem and fully tighten all bolts on the stem to secure it.
  5. Attach the Bell: Secure the bell to the handlebar and tighten its screws.
  6. Install the Front Wheel: Loosen the fixing rod of the front fork. Remove the covers and safety spacer from the wheel hub. Insert the front wheel between the forks, ensuring the brake rotor aligns with the caliper. Snap the spacer into the groove and tighten the nut. Place the black dust cap over the torqued nut.
  7. Install the Headlight: Remove the screws preinstalled on the front fork. Install the headlight on the front fork joints and connect its cables.
  8. Install the Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread and tighten the left pedal counterclockwise. Thread and tighten the right pedal clockwise.

  2. Removable Battery Charging: Unlock and remove the battery from the bike frame. Charge the battery separately using the provided charger. After charging, install and lock the battery back into the frame.
