4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the iJoy SoundWave speaker. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.

1. Connect the small end of the provided charging cable to the DC-5V charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

Pair your iJoy SoundWave speaker with your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to begin wireless audio streaming.

1. Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
2. Press and hold the Play / Pause / Power button for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the speaker. You will hear an audible prompt indicating it is in pairing mode. The LED indicator will flash rapidly.
3. On your device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
5. Select "iJoy Soundwave" from the list of found devices.
6. Once successfully paired, you will hear another audible prompt, and the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
7. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Play / Pause / Power button.
• Next Song: Short press the Next Song / Volume Up button.
• Previous Song: Short press the Previous Song / Volume Down button.
• Volume Up: Long press the Next Song / Volume Up button.
• Volume Down: Long press the Previous Song / Volume Down button.

• Change Light Mode: Short press the Light Mode button to cycle through available light patterns and colors.
• Turn Off Lights: Continue pressing the Light Mode button until the lights turn off.

5.3 Hands-Free Calling

When paired with your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Short press the Play / Pause / Power button when an incoming call rings.
• End Call: Short press the Play / Pause / Power button during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play / Pause / Power button when an incoming call rings.
