What's in the Box

Before you begin, please verify that all components are present:

• 60 Plastic Letter Tiles
• 45 Word Cards

Setup

1. Prepare Letter Tiles: Place all 60 plastic letter tiles face down in the center of the playing area. These form the tile pool.
2. Separate Cards: Separate the Word cards from the Power Up cards. Shuffle each deck separately.
3. Word Card Deck: Place the shuffled Word cards face down to form the Word Card Draw Pile.
4. Power Up Card Deck: Place the shuffled Power Up cards face down to form the Power Up Card Draw Pile.
5. Round Tracker: Place the Round Tracker card nearby. This card helps keep track of the current round.
6. Player Setup: Each player takes a set of letter tiles (e.g., 15 tiles per player for 4 players, or adjust based on player count and preference for tile availability). Players keep their tiles face down in front of them.

Operating (How to Play)

Scrabble Frenzy is played over 6 rounds. The goal is to score the most points by spelling words on Word cards.

Game Flow

1. Start a Round: Flip over a number of Word cards equal to the number of players plus one (e.g., 3 players = 4 cards). Place these face up in the center.
2. Simultaneous Play: All players simultaneously flip over their personal letter tiles. The game begins immediately.
3. Spell Words: Players race to use their available letter tiles to complete words on any of the face-up Word cards. Each Word card has empty spaces indicating the letters needed.
4. Claim a Card: When a player successfully spells a word on a Word card, they shout out the word and immediately slap the card to claim it. The player takes the card and places it in front of them.
5. Replenish Tiles: If a player runs out of tiles, they can draw more from the central tile pool.
6. Power Up Cards: Some Word cards may have a "Power Up" symbol. When a player claims such a card, they also draw one Power Up card from the Power Up Card Draw Pile. These cards provide special abilities (see "Power Up Cards" section).
7. End of Round: A round ends when all face-up Word cards have been claimed.
8. Prepare for Next Round: Players return any unused letter tiles to the central tile pool. The Round Tracker is advanced. A new round begins by flipping new Word cards.

Power Up Cards

Power Up cards introduce special actions or advantages. When you draw a Power Up card, read its effect and apply it immediately or save it for a strategic moment, as indicated on the card.

• Example: Triple Word Score: Keep this Power Up with the Word card you scored it from. It triples the points on that Word card at the end of the game.
• Example: Blank Tile: At any point during the round, you may flip over one of your available tiles and use it as a blank tile. That means it can represent any letter!
• Other Power Up cards may allow you to steal tiles from opponents or gain a head start.

Scoring

After 6 rounds, the game ends. Players then tally their points:
